Privacy Policy
Garrison Dispatch ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Stuart Chapin (Sole Proprietorship), operates the website garrisondispatch.com and provides 24/7 after-hours emergency field service voice and SMS dispatch operations for mechanical contractors. This Privacy Policy details how we handle personal information collected through our emergency dispatch lines, websites, and text messaging communications.
1. Information we collect
When an end-user or customer contacts our emergency dispatch line or uses our services, we may collect:
- Caller name
- Telephone and mobile number
- Physical service address or location for emergency technician dispatch
- Nature of the mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing emergency
- Call transcripts used to record the job accurately
2. Purpose of information use
Information gathered during inbound calls or service requests is used exclusively to:
- Facilitate rapid emergency service dispatch to on-call field technicians.
- Send one-time SMS appointment confirmations, technician ETA notifications, and service status alerts.
- Coordinate job details between the property owner and the service contractor.
3. Strict prohibition on mobile data sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of personal information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.
We do not sell, rent, license, or exchange your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or text messaging communications to third-party brokers, marketers, or external advertisers.
4. SMS opt-in, frequency, and opt-out
We text only people who contacted us first. A caller dials a contractor's emergency line and gives a callback number for that service request; before the call ends the assistant offers one confirmation text, stating the message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, how to stop, and where our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are published. A caller who says no, is unsure, or ends the call first receives no text. Consent is not a condition of service. Callers are never asked to read or accept a contract during an emergency call.
Message frequency depends on emergency activity: typically one to three messages per service request, and never more than five. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop, START to resume, or HELP for help, or contact us at (425) 464-4225.
Contractor personnel receive dispatch texts because the contractor enrolled them and confirmed that each person agreed to receive them.
Full program detail is on the Text Messaging Program page. The rules for using the service are in our Terms of Service.
5. Retention and deletion
Tickets for completed jobs keep the caller name, callback number, service address, and transcript for 90 days so the contractor can resolve the job and any billing question. After 90 days those fields are replaced with Redacted; the ticket remains as a record that a job occurred. The whole ticket is deleted 24 months after creation.
Repeat-caller records and active escalation state expire after 24 hours. Error logs expire after 7 days. Call audio is not stored at all, so there is no audio retention period to track.
To request deletion of a specific record, contact us using the details below. We will remove the ticket and transcript unless a legal or billing obligation requires us to keep it.
